Desperate

Okay, so I'm listening to Desperate by Lecrea and I read this note with this verse

10"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my convenant of peace be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you."
Isaiah 54:10

That verse is amazing because it's basically saying
Baby there ain't no mountain high enough,
Ain't no valley low enough
To keep me away from you babyy

So yeah, that's what God's trying so say to everyone for real, God's always searching for and loving you.

Mainstream artists don't realize that the things they're trying to find in the world, is all of what God is. Love, acceptance, protection..all of it.

So this one is going to be really short, since there's a line for the computer at my house (ha) so I just wanted all of you to know..he's always there. And hopefully I got "Ain't No Mountain" stuck in your head,so you'll know..He made the mountain.

Blinking Cursor

So I came downstairs, to blog. And now I don't know what to write about. Elijah is watching The Incredibles. And I was just thinking about the part where Bob is walking into his house, and the little boy on the tricycle is just sitting there and Bob goes "what are you waiting for?" and the little boy says.. "I don't know, something amazing I guess"

Me too.

I mean, as I write this, I'm trying to think of a verse that I could incorporate into this whole thing..but I don't know. I really like the one in Psalms 16:2

2"I said to the Lord, "You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing.""

As in write now, I feel distant. And nothing seems good. Isn't that cliche? Ha. But it's true. Without God, there is like nothing that measures up. I mean some people get high, and they say "nothing's good without my fix" and people who drink say "nothing's funner than being drunk". Even though funner isn't a word. But I say, without God, everything is bland. And you can't really appreciate the world around you until you understand Who made it, and Who loves you. I guess later I'll blog about Love, and what it should be.

Anyways, I think that if your looking for life, you should try God. He's like the best energy drink out there. For sure(:
