So I was at camp, in like June. And the speaker talked about being self-concious and God-concious. Like in the beginging, Adam and Eve were God-concious. All they cared about was what God thought of them. And after they ate the forbbiden fruit..they became self-concious here, I'll show you
Genesis 3:7
7"Then the eyes of both of them were opened,
and they realized that they were naked; so they
sewed fig leaves together and made coverings
for themselves."
I mean they lived for like months, happy in Eden. And then all of the sudden after being put into sin, they started to think about what other people thought of them. All of the sudden Eve started to think her nose was too big, and her thighs weren't like they used to be. And they both started to think they weren't good enough. So they covered themselves up.
I think that when you're self-concious you are naked. But the more you become God-concious the more you don't care.
So the question is, do you care that you're naked?
I would say that I still care. Even though I'm less self-concious as I was before. But still, I guess it'll take awhile to be totally God-concious.
It's horrible how many girls just in my school that have no other adjective for themseleves except ugly and fat, and none of them are either. I think that, even if we've all been self-concious since birth, we can still become God-concious.
p.s. I do not mean physically naked, you can get arrested for disorderly conduct for being physically naked in public.
