Somewhere Over the Rainbow(:

So, today is Sunday, church day. And Pastor was talking about being joyful in all situations! And I'm listening to Somewhere Over the Rainbow! How cool? Ha, okay maybe you don't think it's cool. whateverr

anyways, the verse that really stuck out to me is in Philipians, 4:4 to be exact. And it says

4"Rejoice in the Lord always. I say it again: Rejoice!"

And the guy who wrote this (Paul) was in a stank jail cell, where it was dark and there were rats and nastyness. And he's still telling other people to rejoice! Wow, he's got some mad faith. He's teaching and being a blessing, while in jail. That's good stuff.

So I was thinking about how I could put this into my life, and I realized I could be doing it now. I mean, I had to stop blogging and go load the dishwasher, and I'm totally not rejoicing right now ha, so even though I'm sort of annoyed I need to learn to be happy. I mean I found Jesus! Seriously! God is so good, and he knows my name! He calls me friend! I should be happy. So this music (somewhere over the rainbow) is making me more happy. And reading verses like that puts a smile on my face. So hopefully as you are reading this, you begin to smile. At all the little things that make you laugh. Like the Geico commercial with the old man as the psychologist, yelling at his patient. Ha! I find that reallyyy funny, since I want to be a Psychologist when I'm out of college, and I would probably be fired for yelling at someone like that. But I guess some people need that. But, oh man, ha that was hilarious (:

So even when all of my friends are getting things I'm not, or their lives are better than mine at the moment, I will still rejoice in the Lord. Because he's really awesome (:
